Alvita Armanavičienė - President of the Lithuanian Consumer Federation, Vice-President of the National Consumer Confederation. She is a member of the Standards Board, Consumer Rights Protection Board, and a Lithuanian representative of the ANEC (European Consumer Organization Standardization Organization). More than 60 conferences and seminars on consumer policy (consumer credit, unfair contract terms, advertising, consumer organization management, consumer rights, consumer research, etc.) took part in various European Union countries.
Currently Alvita Armanavičienė is the coordinator of the Citizens' Information Centers Network. She coordinates the project on the rating of energy-efficient household appliances www.topten.eu and the website of the Consumer complaints www.vartotojuskundai.lt.
